The Rector of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Gives an Introduction to the FGD on the GBHN Restoration at the MPR

Jakarta, – Rector of the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Dr. HM Nasrullah Yusuf, SE, MBA, as Deputy Chair of the Indonesian Chancellors Forum (FRI), delivered an introductory remarks representing the General Chairperson of FRI Prof. Arif Satria, in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) “Restoration of State Policy Guidelines (GBHN)” at the MPR RI Building, Jakarta, Monday (9/11/2020).

The FGD which was initiated by the National Alliance, the Indonesian Chancellors Forum (FRI), the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI), the Indonesian Academy of Sciences and the Indonesian Political Science Association was held through the Zoom meeting. The Chairperson of the National Alliance, Pontjo Sutowo, conveyed the State Direction based on Pancasila democracy. According to Pontjo, since the beginning the founder of the Nation had tried to build a constitutional system which was expected to become the basis for running the government.

However, along with the history of the nation, the Indonesian constitutional system has continued to undergo changes from generation to generation, starting from the parliamentary system, the old order, the new order to the reform era.

Meanwhile, in his introductory remarks representing the Chairman of FRI, Dr. HM Nasrullah Yusuf gave an explanation of the importance of the urgency of the State Policy in the Pancasila paradigm. Nasrullah Yusuf said that FRI supports that Indonesia has seven guidelines for long-term sustainable development.

The Chairman of the MPR, Bambang Soesatyo, MBA, was lined up as the keynote speaker with his presentation the focus of the MPR program on the formulation of the Principles of State Policy that provides direction and equitable distribution of sustainable Indonesian development.

The FGD presented three speakers, namely Prof. Ravik Karsidi (FRI), Prof. Dr. Soffian Effendi (Indonesian Academy of Sciences expert) and Yudi Latif (National Alliance). A number of chancellors of state and private universities were appointed as discussants. Among them Prof. Karomani (Unila Rector), Prof. Amany Burhanudin Umar Lubis (Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah), Prof. Asep Warlan Yusuf who is also Unpar’s Constitutional Law Expert.

Then there is Dr. M. Isnaeni Ramdhan, SH, MH, an expert on the alliance of Nationalities / Academics at Pancasila University, Dr. H. Alfitra Salam, APU Chairman of the Indonesian Political Science Association, Prof. Dr. Nandang A. Deliarnoor, SH, M.Hum. UNPAD State Administration General Expert and others.

The Best Campus in Lampung, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Wins KRSBI Humanoid Champion at the National Event

Bandar Lampung, – The Indonesian Football Robot created by Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia Students, the best private university in Lampung, won 3 trophies in the prestigious Humanoid Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI), which was held 7-8 October 2020. The event which was held by the national achievement center of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) of the Republic of Indonesia and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (UTI) grabbed champions from all categories at once.



UTI took home the first place in the Humanoid KRSBI and Running Category KRSBI, as well as the second winner in the KRSBI for Robot Cooperation. What sets UTI to enter the national arena. “The Humanoid KRSBI contest is held in two regions and one national. What we just joined in Region 1 includes Sumatra, West Java and parts of Central Java,” said UTI’s KRSBI Humanoid Division Advisor Maulana Aziz Assuja.

Maulana explained that the competition was participated in to increase student science and creativity in the field of robotics. In this contest, students are required to develop skills in the fields of mechanics, manufacturing, electronics, programming, artificial intelligent, image processing, digital communication, strategy, the ability to research and write articles.

At the same time, development is needed towards discipline, tolerance, sportsmanship, cooperation, mutual respect, emotional control and other soft skills. “This is not only the implementation of the Independent Campus policy. But also to improve achievement and the framework of developing competition in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Society 5.0. We hope to achieve better results at the National level later,” he concluded.
